The ideal noise reduction solution when wearing more substantial ear protection equipment just isn’t an option. For example whilst wearing a mask, hat, or whilst using a telephone, headset or supplemental ear defenders. These are particularly useful for motorcyclists who can easily wear the protection under their helmets.
The Sonic Defenders will effectively protect your hearing whilst enabling you to hear routine sounds and conversations. Noises above the potentially harmful 80dB range are reduced using the patented technology Hocks Noise Braker filter. Whilst safe sounds, those below 80dB, are permitted to pass through to your ears.
If you need even further hearing protection the Sonic Defenders have a stopper attached. This stopper can be inserted into the earpiece which will then improve protection at the expense of not being able to hear routine sounds or conversations.
These ear defenders are made of soft, hypoallergenic polymer and are ergonomically shaped for a comfortable fit for your ear. This design enables you to wear the defenders comfortably all day. Although the earpieces can be washed in warm soapy water it is recommended that they are replaced every 6 months.
